This is a lot of work; I am not complaining I am just stating my opinion. I have never been a strong researcher but this pretty much proves it and lays it out there for the world to see. I can’t seem to find anything on Gae Aulenti that makes any sense for this topic – most everything is about her furniture that she continues to make and her work on the Museums. I want some detail – some grub – that is interesting enough to make a whole site about. I mean don’t get me wrong, her furniture it super abstract, but I can’t find the back ground information. Why is she designing furniture the way that she is or how is she designing this furniture. When it came down to filling in the ‘technology section’ I could not find anything – except the Base Isolator from the Asian Art Museum. Which is pretty cool but I don’t know if that is the technology you were looking for. I keep seeing pictures of her office space and it is all white, super clean and organized, with what look like Apple computers. Maybe Apple has some kind of high tech program that helps her with her designs. I will not let these barriers get me down – I will continue to research and post my findings.
