Persian Culture and Art Nights (Episode 2)

In Friday November 17, 2017, Iranian Students Association at Oregon State University is going to hold the second episode of “Persian Culture and Art Nights”.

Diversity is an important factor toward a peaceful world. As a cultural association, sharing Persian culture to other nations and providing opportunities for Iranians to learn more about American culture is one of our main goals. Regarding to this goal, in the first section of our meeting, Prof. James Taylor will give a talk about the history of Thanksgiving Day in US. In addition, we have a list of American families who like to have you in Thanksgiving Day. If you like to learn more about this holiday while you spend your time with an American family, please fill out the following form.

After a short coffee break, in the second section of our meeting, Prof. Jonathan Katz will give a talk about the history of Iran-US relationship. This talk will take about 30 min plus 15 min Q&A and I bet it is going to be really interesting. If you are confuse about the history of Iran-US relationship, bring your questions to this meeting.

This event is totally free and open to public. Participants need to register through the following form. The poetry section will be in both Persian and English languages.
