Pride week is coming up, along with a lot of other fun stuff and we just wanted to remind you all about our upcoming Sol events!

TOMORROW!
**Color the Vote
(Thursday, May 3 @ 5-7:30pm)  in MU 109
Showing of the Film “Brother Outsider” a film about Bayard Rustin, a queer person of color and political activist lauded as the man behind MLK.

PRIDE WEEK!
**Pride Week Dinner
(Sunday, May 6 @ 5:30-7:00 pm) in MU 109
Pride Diner and Vigil with Hudson Taylor.  Free tickets available in Snell 149.
**Gender and Fashion
(Tuesday, May 8 @ 5:00-7:00 pm) in MU 206
How fashion constructs gender, and gender fashion.  An interactive event, we discuss the concepts of how gender is read and talk about how gender can be queered.
**Queer People of Color Meeting
(Wednesday, May 9 @ 6:00-8:00 pm) at the Asian Pacific Cultural Center
An informal social gathering of queer people of color!
**Sol Art Show; “Full Spectrum Sexuality:  An Art Exhibition”
(Thursday, May 10 @ 6:00-8:00 pm) in MU 206
Art show focusing on multiculturalism and sexuality.  All mediums welcome.  And the reception will have CUPCAKES!
