Artificial intelligence in the traditional definition is the “Emulation of human thought processes by mechanical devices”. This is talking about a machines ability to have intelligence and the ability to think rationally. To find out if a machine is capable of this they invented the turing test. When I think of Artificial intelligence I think of sci fi movies and things like I-robot where robots are capable of rational thought. This is vastly different then the real meaning because we can’t do that with technology yet. I don’t know how this would be connected to my beliefs but I suppose I think it will and should happen soon? I think that the majority of people will agree with me in their opinions about AI, kinda sci fi ish.
