Muhammad is “The Arab prophet founder of Islam”. He is known for starting islam and to this day is the prophet that people who follow islam pray too. He is “considered to have an exemplary life”. When I hear the name Muhammad he is exactly who I think of, I did a report on Muhammad once upon a time and I understand how much he means to the muslim community. I also think of a very popular name that today continues to be popular. When I asked my friends about Muhammad they all said the prophet of Islam but surprisingly some people didn’t think he was a real person at one point. I found this to be very unusual because I thought that was common knowledge.

That’s interesting Ian. Why do they think Mohammed was not an actual person?
