HR Management is a great way to help a company feel good for the employees and for overall company success. Creating a good environment that supports all employees from the bottom to the top will also help retain employees and improve company relations with who they do business with.

Cisco is a large company where 96% of the employees say it’s a great place to work. The different traits Cisco brings to their works from a human resources stance are numerous and provide the great workplace which leads them to be a great work environment. The welcoming environment was stated by 98% of employees. 97% says management is honest and uses ethical practices. Once very important factor for many people is the ability to take time off of work when necessary which 97% said they were able to do.

Ultimate Software is another great company to work for and a key demographic is the equal age range of their employees from baby boomers to millennials. 99% of employees also said they had unique and special benefits at the company and the company atmosphere is very inclusive with 99% saying special events were celebrated. These all accumulate to 98% of employees telling others they are proud to work at Ultimate Software.

Wegmans Food Markets is a mission-driven, value-based, family company which supports its employees creating a great working atmosphere. This is great for younger people whom the company employs a lot of. Creating a sense of helping the community is also big for the employees and company and 94% feel they are contributing. The community also feels the same way with 96% of customers claiming the services as excellent. 

I would like to be an open and reliable manger in the future whom the people I manage/supervise can come to and discuss any part of their work or mine. The openness and value employees see in their company is seen in all the companies that are great to work for. I think the most challenging portion of being a manager is keeping the employees happy while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines/performing adequately. Keeping them happy keeps everything going smooth.
