Tsunami Drill: Next drill (combined with a fire drill) is scheduled for Friday, June 16th, starting at 2:00 pm. All personnel in OSU NAL, and RSF are required to exit the building for the fire drill. The walk to OCCC is optional. For those who plan to walk, consider using the Strava smartphone app, which will collect data for modeling the evacuation.
There was brief discussion about the recent drill to Safe Haven Hill, and the follow-up presentation on June 1 by Dan Cox and Lori Cramer, which included modeling of evacuation time from HMSC and from South Beach State Park. August 21st Solar Eclipse: Agencies are considering options for personnel and traffic for that day, in considering the influx of visitors in Newport and resulting traffic issues.
Doorstops for Ed Wing Hall Doors: The loose wooden blocks will be replaced.
