OSU Alert System for HMSC: An extended discussion covered several issues re setup and usage of the system. Details continue to be worked out for best practices for University, State and Federal units, including contact information on appropriate OSU personnel, university and agency interns, agency personnel, as well as inclusion and updating of commuting students, summer session instructors, interns, and housing subsets.
Marine Science Day: An update was provided. The event was successful, and there were no reported incidents.
First Aid Kits & General Medical Emergency Issues: The discussion covered equipment on site and what sort of updates/additional assistance might be available to us in the future.
Delayed Openings: The group discussed university and agency policies re decisions and notifications for late opening.
