Hey everyone, I, Kyle Mannari, would like to invite everyone to the first general meeting for HHSA. Since this is the first meeting HHSA will have, I hope everyone will do their best to make it. The agenda for the meeting will consist of elections for 2012 – 2013 positions, creating goals to work towards, and an upcoming event that will take place in the MU Quad this quarter.
Responsibilities for all positions are to attend weekly executive meetings, be an active member of the club, and be a student of OSU. For elections, I’m asking that anyone who wants to run for a position give a brief, less than two minutes, speech for the position. Everyone can run for positions and more than one position if they wish. Voting will be anonymous and will be hand counted, by me(I won’t vote). Below are the details for all positions.
President – main speaker, facilitates meetings, help all other positions, responsible for all events and the maintaining the public image of the club
Vice President – securing locations, create bonding events, setting up events, reserve rooms for exec meetings
Secretary – recording minutes, notifying members of events
Historian – documenting group activity, help out other officers with other tasks
Public Relations – main contact for the club externally
Webmaster – updating the website with up to date information
Treasurer – Responsible for managing and reporting account and funds
After elections, we will brainstorm goals for the club to work towards, for the rest of the term, and as the next school year begins. After brainstorming, we will vote on 2 – 3 goals that we will work towards as a group.
