Oral Presentations

Individuals whose abstracts are accepted for an oral presentation will need to prepare a 20 minute talk for the conference. The schedule will allow for an additional 5 minutes for questions and transitioning to the next presentation (for a total of 25 minutes). Please bring presentations on a USB flash drive. Presentations will be collected when you check-in at the conference. Each conference room will be equipped for PowerPoint or Prezi presentations.

Posters

Those accepted for a poster presentation should bring a poster that is no larger than 3 feet wide and 4 feet tall (portrait). Check in at the registration table for information about where and when to hang your posters. Tacks or tape will be provided.

If you have any questions, please contact: brianna.beene@oregonstate.edu.

Submit your paper to New Forests!
A selection of the communications presented at the symposium will be published in a special issue of the international journal, New Forests (published by Springer). Authors whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the symposium are invited to prepare a publication (due at the time of the conference) for inclusion in the special issue. An author must attend and present their abstract (oral or poster presentation) at the symposium in order to submit a manuscript to be considered for inclusion in the special issue. Papers should be formatted according to the author guidelines listed on the website and should be submitted directly to the journal website.  Authors should designate that the article is to be considered as part of the special issue for this symposium (Choose “Special Issue:  Forest Regeneration” as the article type during the submission process).   All articles will undergo the normal, rigorous peer review process of the journal prior to acceptance for the special issue.
