One-day field trip to the Oregon Coast led by Harvey Kelsey.  Topics will include climate-erosion coupling and the evolution of the Oregon Coast Ranges, tsunami deposits and the seismogenic behavior of the Cascadia megathrust, and marine terrace records of permanent strain accumulation and uplift along the Cascadia margin.

Tuesday, July 25, 2017
After the final session of the academic conference, participants will get a filed trip preview as they travel through the Western and High Cascades to Rock Springs Ranch in Tumalo, Oregon.

Wednesday, July 26, 2017
Andrew Meigs will lead a one-day field trip in the Oregon Cascades to explore the role of tectonic-climate interactions in the Cenozoic evolution of this volcanic arc.
