Extension’s future success will be determined by the quality and relevance of our educational products and services, in all their forms. With this in mind, Penn State Extension—in close partnership with their Agricultural Communications unit—is launching a comprehensive strategy (called ATLAS) to modernize and redefine how Extension operates in an incredibly competitive, new age of communications and education.
Please join us on Oct. 23 to learn more about the vision, goals, and strategy for the ATLAS project, as well as challenges and lessons learned.
Top Honors in Extension Excellence
The Excellence in Extension Award is a national award given annually to one Cooperative Extension professional in recognition of their visionary leadership, excellence in programming, and positive impact on their community. In addition to the national recognition, one Extension educator from each of the five Cooperative Extension regions (northeast, north central, south, west, and 1890 universities), will be recognized for excellence at the 128th Annual Meeting of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) in Indianapolis, Indiana, November 15-17, 2015.
