If I were to come across a news article that reported my favorite company was facing a public lawsuit in which they were accused of a widespread discrimination at first it would be hard for me to believe, espeically if this was a company or brand I supported greatly, However, if their facts and real evidence that came to surface to back these claims I would at first be conflicted, but overall, I would have to stop supporting this brand. Obviously “stop supporting” can come in many different forms. For example, if it were Nike I would stop purchasing clothing as well as shoes from them and start shopping elsewhere. However, I would still personally be conflicted on what to do with my already owned shoes as well as clothing. I would also struggle to compete as a Division 1 athlete as we are sponsored by Nike, but I would assume the University would come up with their own set of rules and regulations towards Nike and this lawsuit they are facing. If it were a brand like Pandora I would cancel my monthly subscription and find an alternative company to subscribe to for money. It would surely change the way I felt about the company as well as how I would support them as stated earlier. It would change the way I felt about applying for the company at first, but also depending on how the company responded and acted towards this lawsuit would also greatly affect my decision. If it were something I were knowledgeable about and felt as if I had the tools to help this company I would also do my best to do that as well. In the end I hope this never were to happen, but in conclusion I would try my best to stop supporting this company or brand no matter how much I liked them.
