The School of Public Health at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS). Applications from individuals with interests and expertise in all areas of environmental health sciences will be considered.

The Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Michigan is engaged in a broad range of research in environmental and occupational exposure science, toxicology, environmental/atmospheric chemistry, microbiology, epidemiology, and global health.

Areas of research interest include exposure science, broadly defined and applied to chemicals encountered in occupational or environmental settings; methodologies for characterizing risks to emerging chemical hazards, particularly among vulnerable populations; innovative technologies for assessing simultaneous exposures to multiple agents and consequent biological impacts; data science; and “omics” approache relating chronic human diseases to endogenous and exogenous factors via analyses of biomarkers and mechanistic pathways.

Areas of teaching interest include lecture and/or laboratory courses in occupational health or any of the other research interest areas listed above.
