The Human Health Assessment Branch of the California Environmental Protection Agency is currently recruiting for the following positions:

  • Associate Toxicologists
  • Senior Environmental Scientists
  • Environmental Services Interns
  • Scientific Aids

DPR uses a comprehensive approach to human health assessment for pesticides used in California including:
(1) Hazard identification
(2) Dose-response assessment, and
(3) Exposure assessment
Human Health Assessment Branch also makes emergency determinations of potential impacts from illegal pesticide residues on fresh fruits and vegetables, coordinates Proposition 65 activities, and assists with determining the effectiveness of mitigation activities.
