If you didn’t know, OHESC is the Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Conference. This year it will be held at Lane Community College in Eugene on Feb. 4-5. It’s fun, educational, and an amazing experience. Here are 10 reasons why you should attend! 

  1. There are 10 speakers representing Oregon State University! Go Beavs!
  2. It’s a great way to network with other students and professionals involved in Sustainability
  3. You could attend a movie screening of an award-winning film!
  4. Breakfast & Lunch are included! Yay food!
  5. If you’re a student, the registration cost is 78% cheaper than General Admission!
  6. Registered attendees will receive a free one-day pass valid Feb. 3-5, 2016 to ride the bus or the EMX
  7. The topics of the sessions range from Addressing Food Insecurity to Sustainability in Latin American Culture to Greek Life Going Green
  8. You can tour a cool brewery in Eugene!
  9. You can receive free admission in exchange for signing up for a volunteer shift!
