This Thursday, November 21 at 4:30-6:00 pm, the Waste Watchers and the Asian Pacific Cultural Center are teaming up to put on Your Refuse, My Refuge, an event focused on global garbage villages and waste reduction.

The event will be held at the Asian Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) at 2638 NW Jackson Street (view on campus map).

Your Refuse, My Refuge will offer a combination of presentation (on garbage villages around the world), group discussion (on how we can individually and collectively reduce waste in our lives) and craftiness (making reusable bags out of old T-shirts)! All supplies provided, but feel free to bring your own shirt if you have one you’d like to use.
