				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) will be holding on-campus interviews Monday, November 5th, 2012, for PAID Summer Jobs in 2013.</strong> Many positions lead to permanent employment upon graduation. Open to all majors and levels, freshmen through graduates!</p>
<p>The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP) is a recruitment and referral program that connects public and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated postsecondary students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. Employers include agencies such as Departments of Defense, Labor, Agriculture, Commerce, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, Interior, State, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs; the Social Security Administration; the National Aeronautics and Space Administration; the Nuclear Regulatory Commission; the Environmental Protection Agency; the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation; the Farm Credit Administration, and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Many (but not all) positions are outside of Oregon.</p>
<p><strong>Sign up now for an interview if you meet the following requirements:</strong></p>
<ol start="1">
<li>have a disability, and</li>
<li>are a U.S. citizen, and</li>
<li>are enrolled full-time at OSU (unless reduced course load is authorized as a disability-related accommodation) OR you graduated since Fall 2011.</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Incight, a non-profit organization based out of Portland, OR is looking for job seekers with disabilities to participate in a Live Resume event on August 16. </p>
<p><strong>What:</strong> Live Resume is an opportunity for job seekers to present their experiences and credentials in person to 10-15 employers. Selected participants will have three minutes to verbally present themselves to employers. After the presentations there is 45 minutes of networking. </p>
<p><strong>Who: </strong>Job ready individuals who want to meet local businesses, work on their networking skills and practice their interviewing technique. </p>
<p><strong>When: </strong>August16, 2012 – 7:30a.m. – 9:30a.m. </p>
<p><strong>Where: </strong>Selected participants will be informed of the location</p>
<p>Why: To find gainful employment. </p>
<p><strong>How? </strong>Please read this carefully – Participation in Live Resume is a competitive process, there are twenty spots for job seekers.  Interested individuals with disabilities need to submit their resumes and what type of job you’re are looking for to Tiana Tozer at tiana@incight.org no later than July 20, 2012. Depending on the number of resumes, individuals may be asked to provide additional information. Resumes and additional information, if requested, will be reviewed and selected candidates will be asked to come in for a pre-interview at the Incight office in downtown Portland. Pre-screening interviews will take place July 23-25 and July 30–August 1. Candidates who are selected to participate in the actual event will be expected to attend a practice session also in downtown Portland on Monday August 13. The actual event will take place on Thursday, August 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.</p>

Participating agencies include US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, US Fish &amp; Wildlife Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency, Army Corps of Engineers, Bonneville Power Administration, US Geologic Service, Federal Highway Administration, National Marine Fisheries Service, and National Park Service.</p>
<p>Who: Job seekers with disabilities interested in learning about jobs available with natural resources agencies and would like an opportunity to network with HR professionals from these agencies.</p>
<p>When: Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM</p>
<p>Where: Doubletree Hotel at Lloyd Center, Portland, OR. 1000 NE Multnomah St. 97232. Free On-site parking passes available at registration.</p>
<p>Why: To introduce job seekers to a particular industry and the job opportunities available within that industry.</p>
