Bio:
Hi everyone, my name is Ryan Bay and I’m a senior ECE student. I have been working with embedded systems throughout my senior year, through my senior project. I have had work experience designing control systems during my internship at Brown and Caldwell, which has some translation to embedded systems. Hoping this year I will learn even more.
Senior Design Project: Internet of Things Temperature Controller
This project is about designing a PID temperature controller that will be able to control heating pads in an automated greenhouse. What sets this apart from many other temperature controllers, is the device’s internet capabilities. My role on the team is designing the sensors, the enclosure, and the power system.
