About Me
My name is Andrew Leichner and as of this post, I am a student in Electrical and Computing Engineering, officially considered Senior. I got my start in electronics when my Dad brought home an Arduino one day and taught me how to do the age-old blinking LED project. Ironically, I grew to dislike the Arduino platform for its high inefficiency in the name of simplifying learning. Now, I’ve moved onto the PIC family of microcontrollers with a few dabbles in Raspberry Pi programming with Python. My aim is to obtain a Bachelor’s degree and have taken classes that allows me specialized knowledge in Integrated Circuits, with the long-term goal of working in the robotics industry.
Specialties
- Low-Power Design
- Power Supply Design
