I am Donald Joyce. A senior in electrical and computer engineering. I will be graduating after Fall 2020. I interned with Intel for six months last spring and summer. My interests are IOT, computer engineering, embedded systems, machine learning, digital signal processing and digital image process.
I enjoy surfing, skiing, rock climbing, and generally being outdoors.
Senior Project: My senior Project was IOT Temperature Controller. The device would control a heating pad that would be used to regulate the temperature of a bed of plants. This temperature was monitored and used to determine if intervention was need. This term is final term for my senior project. We completed all of the requires despite the fact that COVID-19 limited our ability to work on it. A link to our senior project showcase can be found here. Update on future plans: I did have an internship with Tektronixs lined up for the summer and fall but due to COVID-19 that has been cancelled.
