As part of the Summer 2023 Parking Lot Renewal project, three parking lots will be closed for renewal from August 1 – August 3. The lots include the International Living Learning Center lot (#3288), the Women’s Building West lot (#3310) and the Sackett Hall North lot (#3303).

As part of the LaSells Stewart Center Mechanical & Roof Renewal Project, a section of SW Stadium Ave. located directly behind LaSells Stewart Center and just south of Bloss Hall will be closed to allow for crane activity on Friday, May 26 from 7 A.M. to 1 P.M. The entrance to SW Stadium Ave. from SW Western Blvd. will be closed. The west sidewalk on Stadium Ave. will be closed. The east sidewalk on Stadium Ave. will remain open for pedestrians. A vehicle detour will be available from Western Blvd. along the east and north side of the Bloss Hall South Parking Lot.

As part of the West Greenhouse Improvement Project, a section of the eastbound lane on SW Campus Way will be closed along with a section of the south sidewalk on Friday, May 5 from 7 AM to 4PM. The impacted section is located between SW 30th and SW 35th Streets in front of the Motor Pool West and National Forage Seed Center East parking lots. The parking lots will remain open. However, the east entrance to the NFSC East parking lot will be closed and multiple parking spaces will be unavailable.

Drivers should expect to see flaggers directing traffic around the closure. A pedestrian detour will be available along the north sidewalk.

There are two maps pictured. One map shows a pedestrian detour along the north sidewalk on SW Campus Way.  The second map shows a sidewalk and lane closure on the south side of SW Campus Way.

As part of the Rogers Hall fume hood replacement project, a crane will be placed in the Graf Hall parking lot to lift equipment onto the roof of Rogers Hall. The work is scheduled for Monday, March 13 from 6:30 – 9 a.m. Limited parking spaces will remain available.

As part of the Whyte Track & Softball Scoreboard project, three streetlights on the north side of the Whyte Track and Softball parking lot will be removed to allow for sidewalk construction and site work. New lights will be installed later this spring. Other possible impacts include noise and dust near the construction site.

As part of the Pride Center Renovation project, SW May Ave. between the Pride Center and Adams Hall will be closed from 8:00AM – 2:00PM on Tuesday, February 7th. Access to the parking lots on the corners of SW A Ave./SW 17th St. and SW May Ave. /SW A Ave. will be maintained. Please refer to the map below for alternate routes.
