As part of the Withycombe Hall Renovation project, a planned power outage will impact multiple buildings in the area. The outage is scheduled for Wednesday, February 1st, from 12:00AM – 3:00AM.

The following buildings will be without power from 12:00 AM – 3:00AM on Wednesday, February 1st:

  • Withycombe Hall
  • Nash Hall
  • Gilmore Hall
  • Ballard Extension
  • Women’s Building

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers and other electronic devices are turned off prior to February 1st, 2023. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.

For work related to the Cordley Hall Renewal Project, a planned power outage is scheduled from 5-7 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 for the following buildings on Oregon State University’s Corvallis campus:

  • Ballard Extension
  • Cordley Hall- East side
  • Gilmore Hall
  • Nash Hall
  • Withycombe Hall
  • Women’s Building

This is the rescheduled date for the planned power outage originally scheduled for August 8.

The planned power outage is scheduled from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022.

The Fairbanks Hall Renovation Project is now in construction. Due to forecasted windy weather and Fairbanks Hall re-roofing work overhead, the sidewalk between Fairbanks Hall and the Women’s Building will be closed temporarily for safety reasons on Friday September 24, 2021. The south door at the Women’s Building will have signage directing people to use a different door for this short duration. The sidewalk will re-open to pedestrians at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021.
