For work related to the Oak Creek greenhouse project, an electrical shutdown is scheduled for the west wing of the Oak Creek Building. The electrical shutdown is scheduled to occur from 6-10 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022. The shutdown will impact the first and second floors of the building’s west wing, and lunch room 227 on the second floor.

The three stand-up freezers within the west wing of the building will be temporarily powered by generators during the shutdown. The walk-in cooler in the older wood greenhouse building will be temporarily powered by back feeding the building panel from the electrical panel inside the existing greenhouse.

For questions or comments on this work, contact Project Manager John Doty at 541-740-8302.

What do you need to do to prepare for this outage? Please make sure that all computers, printers, copiers, and other electronic devices are turned off prior to the start of the scheduled stand-by generator testing. If you have an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), also known as a battery back-up, please be sure to turn it off as well.
