The Fire Systems are shut down in Reser Stadium-East Side due to failure in fire panel as of August 17, 2018. Fire system alarms, pull stations and strobes will not be operational. In case of fire or smoke call 9-1-1. A second notification will follow when services are restored.

Pacific Power contractor will be doing construction work on tunnel hatch lids in two separate areas on campus. Construction work will be taking place August 17, 2018 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Several spaces will be closed on the southeast side of the parking lot at Bates Hall (View Map) and traffic control flagging will occur at 26th Street & Washington on the north side of Gill. During this time there will possible traffic delays.

The RO/DI water system will be shut down in the Pharmacy Building August 16, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 am August 17, 2018 to install two valves in the line. This will not affect the main water supply to the building just labs with RO/DI systems.

The domestic hot water will be shut down in Kerr Administration Building Side B (all floors) August 14, 2018 from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm while a leak in the hot water main line is repaired. This will affect all domestic hot & cold water in B102H & B106. All other areas on Side B only the hot water in restrooms, custodial closets, sinks & drinking fountains.

The steam will be shut down in the Eastside of Cordley Hall for emergency repairs July 25, 2018. This will affect heat & hot water in the eastside of the building. Restoration is unknown at this time. Crews are working on repairs and an update will be sent out when more information is available.

Facilities Services will be performing annual load bank testing for the below listed building emergency/ stand-by generators. Each test will take approximately 3 hours and testing will take place between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. There may be excessive noise and possible exhaust fume odors associated with testing. Each generator will be refueled after testing.
