HRM
After reading the article and watching the lecture videos I have concluded that I want to be the type of manager that is willing to go above and beyond for their coworkers. Somebody that comes into work everyday willing to contribute to the goal and who is willing to go out of their way for their cowrkers in any situation. One of the companies that I selcted to review was the hilton. The reason the hilton has such a good human resource managemnt team is that they provide a postive atmosphere for their employees. This allows the comapny to have an upbeat tempo and create a postive work enviroment that their employees actually enjoy. Another reason is that employees feel supported and valued by their managers, and this means they are more likely to be motivated to perform well in their roles. Providing good HRM practices can lead to increased productivity and better overall performance, ultimately benefiting the company’s bottom line. The othercompany that i was reviewing was carmax. Carmax provides their employees with way to improve and bonuses that motivates their employees. Carmax also provides an excellent training program that allows for job retention and long career development within the company.
