Welcome to our Family Food Educator blog. I hope that this can be a place where you can bring your thoughts, ask questions, gather information, and find everything you need for our program. This may also be a place that people outside of our program can come to glean information about health and nutrition. Our entries will evolve overtime and I would like to invite you to join in and post your comments!
Sincerely,

Hi Jamie,
I just came from St. Vincent’s. There were not as many people this time but I was able to make an impromptu snack from the ingredients they had on hand! They had some delicious bread, canola oil and an Italian cheese mix. I sliced the bread, spread the oil and sprinkled the cheese over it. Baked at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes and voila! The orange rice salad was not as big a hit!

Like the site. Will be a great way to communicate. Looked at the voting for meeting times – we may have a hard time finding a date and time.
