Financial Anaylsis
My dream of traveling abroad to Europe will come true this August when I head to Kristiansand, Norway. I’m going there to complete my degree in business, but also to travel around and see the wonderful things all parts of Europe has to offer. I’ve designed my entire collegiate career around being able to study abroad as my final term in college. Being accepted into the study abroad program was a huge achievement in my life and I can’t be more excited for this opportunity.
Finances will play a very large role while I am in Norway. I’ll need to budget my money well in order to have a good time but still have enough money to live off of. Although traveling is relatively cheap in Europe, with the airlines and trains, it’s going to be more expensive for me being in northern Europe across the North Sea. I need to budget in trips to Germany to see one of my best friends from high school, a trip to Austria to see a friend that’s studying abroad there, a trip to France, the Netherlands, Denmark, and most likely Sweden which will be the closest.
The VisitNorway site provides great information on places to visit while in Norway, along with places to stay, eat, transportation, and a brief history of Norway. By looking at the places to visit in Norway I can limit it down to the exact sites I want to travel to and then look into specific prices. Ryanair is the popular cheap airline in Europe that I will use to look up and purchase my flights from.
