We’re looking for college students between their junior and senior year to work this summer in the dynamic world of retailing as Summer Interns with Fred Meyer at our Corporate Office in Portland, OR!

INTERNSHIPS MAY BE AVAILABLE IN THE FOLLOWING DEPARTMENTS:
-Buying Office
-Merchandise Planning
-Finance/Accounting
-Advertising/Marketing
-Public Affairs
-Human Resources
-Product Development
-Fred Meyer Jewelers
-Engineering

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
-Learn and experience how a major retailer operates from all angles
-Participate in professional development classes
-Attend behind-the-scene tours of Fred Meyer facilities (Bakery Manufacturing Plant, Distribution Centers)
-Complete an extensive eleven-week program and final project
-Network with senior executives
-Gain a clear understanding of business management including Customer service merchandise management, and Associate team building

COMPENSATION/SCHEDULE:
-$12.00/hour, 40 hour work week
-10 weeks (June 25 through August 31)
-Benefit eligibility not applicable
