Hey all, sorry I haven’t updated you guys. I’ve also been a little lacking with the facebook page.

It’s already April and Khmer Night is less than 2 calendar weeks away! Last year was a great one, but this year should be better now that we have the MU Ballroom!

Volunteers: We will finally have some instruction for you guys somewhat soon. I can already say that we’ll need some help with the prep and cooking on the Saturday before and the morning of Khmer Night.

Dancers: Dance practice will continue during CSA meeting times as well as any other times Inhkuong says dancers should meet. It’s typically been during Friday nights.

Program: Pretty much all figured out—thanks Sokho (also made the Khmer Night Poster to the left).

Remember to get tickets when they come out (we’ll let you know when)! Once they’re out, that’s pretty much it unless you’re a volunteer (hint hint).

If you guys want to see a bit of what happened last year, there’s a link in the drop-down menu under ‘Events.’

CSA’ers, we also need to brush up (or for some of us, learn) the Khmer national anthem! I’ll post it later for reference. Anyway, I think that’s all I have to say for now.

Oh, don’t forget Khmer New year! CSA is volunteering to help out in Wat (temple) this weekend and afterwards, some of us will be heading up to Seattle as we are invited by UW’s Khmer Student Association (KhSA). Let us know if you’re interested, so we can figure out rides and carpool. Okay, that is all.
