I’ve created this site for the purpose of publishing a study I conducted on the types of chairs a typical dorm resident is given in their lounge. To be more specific, a resident of Wilson Hall, a part of Oregon State University. I am conducting this study in part because of a class assignment that I have but also because of my personal interest in the furniture I rest upon. They are one of the most commonly used and generally overlooked tools of modern society that fuel so much of our progress. Studies from scientists have recently shown that without this crucial invention our race may only have progressed to half of where it is today. Below is an example of a company that I think is pushing the boundaries of chairs, developing at adding to the point of near perfection. Also the first installment of chairs located in our dorm.
