1. Reuse when grocery shopping.
Take plastic produce or bulk bags back to the grocery store and put new purchases in them. Make sure to give these bags a quick rinse in between uses.
2. Use as packing material.
Instead of buying new packing material when you send a package or move houses, ball up used plastic bags and fit them around whatever you are packing.
3. Protect cookbook pages.
Slide a clear plastic bag over your cookbook to protect it from getting dirty while you’re cooking.
4. Make a pastry bag.
Cut a hole in one corner of a plastic bag and fill with your desired ingredients.
5. Crochet a tote bag.
The Etsy Blog outlines how to crochet a reusable tote bag out of 20-25 clean plastic bags. All you need is a plastic crochet hook and scissors!
