Hello, my name is Brooklyn Nelson. I’m originally from Canby, Oregon. I grew up on a twenty-acre farm and raised dogs, horses, chickens, and rabbits. I graduated from Canby High School in 2011. While in high school I was the president of the FFA chapter, a varsity member of the Equestrian Team, a soprano in Concert Choir, a four-year honor roll student, a member of the National Honors Society, and a member of Link Crew. I also was heavily involved with 4-H for all nine years and participated both on the county, state, and national levels.
Currently, I am a Sophomore at Oregon State University majoring in Agricultural Business Management. On campus, I am involved with the Collegiate FFA and currently am the Chair for the State Convention Workshop. I also was on the Equestrian Team (IHSA) and competed on both the Western and English teams.
