Nora is 2-wheeling!

YouTube Direct

Ted has been helping Nora practice riding bike without her training wheels for the last few weeks. She turned it into a game in which she would look at our car’s license plate to choose a “level” (a number or letter from our license plate), then coast down the gentle slope of the driveway with her legs out to the side. On Friday night she added pedaling to her balancing powers and she did it!

In other biking news, Anders rode his own bike with us all the way out to Gathering Together Farms for breakfast. The lure of pancakes, syrup and bacon pulled him all the way there.

Ted, Mike, Cora and I escorted him. He did a fabulous job, with just a few short rest stops. Heading back with a full belly of pancakes, he took a ride-tow on the back of my bike for a short part of the way home (picture to be posted soon). What a trooper! 8.7 miles one-way!

Anders rode that many miles on his bike? Wow! That’s awesome! The video of Nora is cute too. It’s nice that you capture these special moments. It will be fun for her to watch it one day when she’s all grown up. *smile*
