I am writing to apply for a PHD position in plant pathology at oregon State University in the United State. For your information, I, Maysam Taghinasab Darzi, am currently an instructor and faculty member of Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Gorgan, Iran, who joined the Plant Protection Department of the University since 2004. During my career, I was appointed to teach and do research. I have taught several courses like Bacterial Disease of Plant, Trees Fruit Disease, General Biochemistry and General Microbiology for B.Sc. students and instructed several lab courses for M.Sc. students. Moreover I had the privilege of advising several postgraduate students. My research mainly focuses on Bio-control of plant disease and Plant pathogenic bacteria
