Congestion

We have noticed that a big problem that adds to congestion here on campus is the lack of dedicated paths that bikers can use to get a crossed campus.

Above is an example of this problem. The MU has a block that requires bikers to get off and walk their bikes. Bikers tend to avoid this area and often take the routes like the routeĀ  in red. This increases the commute time of bikers and funnels all the bikers on the streets bordering the MU. This creates problems at pedestrian cross walks as there are large volumes of students and bikers trying cross at the same time.
