Aug 5th…. a Day in the Life of EMBHSSC
Campers are busy from dawn to dusk not only learning, but also having fun. POD families have bonded and the kids enjoy hanging out with their counselors and new friends. With friendship is coming some friendly competition, too. Before going to classes there is now a stiff competition to see which POD gets to leave the dorm first. They are coming up with unique ways to display their collective talents!

Just got home with your sister. She had a great time and made a couple new friends. How was the speaker from NASA? What reptiles did you see today? Such a cool camp! Have fun in Newport tomorrow!

I can only get on every other day. there’s a new blog every day. miss you. tomorow we’re going to the coast for a field trip. we’re going to the same place I went to with school, Hatfield Marine Science Center. See you day after tomorow!!!

We don’t only learn about science either! Yesterday I learned some pretty awesome cat’s cradle tricks! Oh, and tonight we get to see a guy talking about reptiles! Super Fun!

Then tomorrow we’re going to the Beach…which doesnt count as off campus cuz im with the group!!! ohh and did you get the letter I wrote you?? I love you and miss you!!! tell everyone like greg and anne and kimi and my dad cuz that includes them….

Camp here is super fun!! I’m really glad I was able to come to this amazing camp!! The campus is big and really cool!! The food is really good here too! I love learning here and there is really amazing and fun couslers and staff!! Really Miss home!!

Camp is going well and we have done many musical competitions. Also, we learned plenty about craters on mars and how they are formed.

In one of our activities we had to pretend we were all water droplets. We passed a water balloon around and whoever had the balloon got to tell the next line in the story. It was so much fun!

we learned aboot how to create meteors
I think camp is great sofar. On wesnday we are going to sing.
On Thursday and Friday we learned Excel. This was a little more technical than power point but everyone caught one quickly. We took a poll of the classes favorite colors and then used that data to create scatter and bar graphs. We then used the data from the “Is it Alive” activity to create a plot describing the data. Everyone did a great job and was able to print the plot they made.
it has been rly fun here! i love the food! lol i have learned alot, my mom said i would be going home alot smarter, lol, i hope i do!
