Try to get at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day.
Aim for those activities that increase your heart rate and make you breathe harder. Can’t find a whole 30 minutes? Break it up into 10-minute segments and before you know it, you will be done!
Every little bit counts!
Look for ways to increase your activity in your everyday routine, like taking the stairs more often, parking further away, or scheduling a 15-minute walking break with a friend.
Set realistic goals.
Getting in shape is a common New Year’s resolution. To be successful, you need to be SMART – setting goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely!

Start slow and work your way up!
Whether it’s climbing a flight of stairs or running a marathon, it all begins with one step! If you are recovering from an injury, talk with your health care provider before starting any type of activity.
