Food For Thought: Garlic A Power Food

Looking to add some flavor to your favorite dishes and get a health boost at the same time? Garlic acts as a vasodilator and has been shown in some literature to help lower cholesterol, reduce risk for blood clots, and decrease atherosclerotic plaque buildup. Some research even suggests it may help reduce the risk for certain types of cancer and help lower blood pressure (although not as conclusive as previous literature). Garlic can add natural flavor to hummus, stir frys, salads, sauces, and marinades.
