Please join us in increasing awareness and acceptance of our bodies in all their shapes and sizes. The Body Empowerment Project consists of one-hour weekly classes taught for four consecutive weeks. Classes are designed to increase body satisfaction among female college students. The goal of the workshop is to engage women in a discussion about the pressures to attain an unrealistic beauty ideal and how to respond to these pressures.
Individuals interested in the four-week workshop are invited to sign up for one of the following groups:
- Mondays 1:00-2:00 p.m.: Starts Week 4 – 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18
- Mondays 5:00-6:00 p.m.: Starts Week 4 – 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18
- Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 p.m.: Starts Week 5 – 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26
- Wednesdays 3:00-4:00 p.m.: Starts Week 5 – 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
- Thursdays 12:00-1:00 p.m.: Starts Week 4 – 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21
- Fridays 10:30-11:30 a.m.: Starts Week 5 – 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1
Location: Student Health Services, Plageman Bldg. (Room location to be confirmed after registration.)

Hey! This project sounds pretty awesome…I want to join. I know is far too late for Winter 2013 term, so I would like dibs on Spring 2013 term. Is there a link to registered in advance? If not, I would love to know immediately when it is offered/if offered in the spring. Thanks!
