It’s that time again! Time to kick-off the new academic year with the 2012 Be Well Walk & Run!
This year’s Be Well Walk & Run includes a 5 Kilometer running course as well as a 1 mile walking course featuring activity stations to engage participants in learning about the Healthy Campus Initiative, including physical activity, stress management, nutrition and a smoke-free campus. The event is free and open to the community.

You are encouraged to register on your own or as part of a group for the 2012 Be Well Walk & Run. We invite you to encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to participate in this fun and active event which encourages a healthy community.
Participating individuals or groups are also encouraged to wear costumes to show their Beaver Spirit if they wish…and there will be plenty of photo-ops at the event!

Interested in volunteering at the event?
Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Hand out T-shirts
- Stand along the course and help direct participants
- Help with on-site registration
- Other opportunities as needed
All volunteers receive a free T-shirt.
