I see the state fair starts this year on September 24th and runs through Oct 17. Gonna try and make it!

I’ve never had the pleasure of being at the Texas state fair but it sounds awesome. I wonder what fried butter is like? Sounds like a lot of fried stuff. Oh man, sounds good.
