Vice President | Brett Zimmerman

Brett earned his undergraduate degree in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State in 2011. He served as a nuclear submarine officer in Pearl Harbor until he left the military in 2017 to pursue a career in triathlon. He trained full-time, lived that #VanLife, and traveled to compete at national and world championship level events. But the long-term plan was always to return to graduate school to earn a degree in Public Health with the goal of practicing Environmental Health for the military, US Public Health Service, or federal government. In his spare time, he is still heavily involved in triathlon, road and gravel cycling, downhill skiing, belting out some karaoke occasionally, and hunting down neat places that serve up amazing tacos, frozen yogurt, or donuts.
