6th Annual ASOSU Gripe Fest

Published by under Day To Day Post

Gripe Fest is an Oregon State University open forum where students can present their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions regarding their experiences at OSU. Every year, ASOSU compiles all these gripes from Gripe Fest into the Gripe Fest Final Report that goes to several department administrators at OSU. These reports have brought about several changes at OSU.  At this year’s event, we had two new ways of griping: an online web form and a Google Voice account that allowed students to text in their gripes.

Here is how Gripe Fest has affected our university in the past few years:

  • 24-hour library
  • Online teacher evaluations
  • MyDegrees online academic advising form
  • Campus signage (maps)
  • Space allocation within the S.E.C.
  • Pressure for improvements in campus accessibility, academic advising, and other areas of campus life.
