How To Be A Good Manager
The companies I had chosen include Wegman’s foods, Workday, and Adobe systems incorporated, companies I believe set great examples of what a good manager should do. Overall, based on each of the different companies’ expertise and backgrounds, they all share one thing in common that allows them to be great HR managers, and that is simply to well listen to your employees. That may sound like a cop-out or something we all understand as people, listening to someone shows that you care, but a lot of the time many employers, don’t or invest the time in you to investigate your problem. By these companies taking the time to hear employees’ issues, ways they could improve the company, or even how they invest in their current employees to be more motivated and eventually stay longer as a hard employee, it would lead to an overall rise in the company and satisfaction of the employee. As the website better states, “This creates a work environment of trust. Having the trust of your employees gives you greater influence over them.” It rings true regardless of what you do as a company. When also looking at what employees are towards when finding a company that will support or motivate them, it helps inspire me into thinking about what type or HR manager I want to be, I want to be the one if I ever become one listens. Someone who takes the time into investing time into people when they come to me, who can be there for any concern and solve it with passion and genuine care from the heart. In sum, these companies follow that to a tea, which is something that inspires me to work hard.
