Introduction

Throughout my time in secondary school, I heard from many about how I was a leader.  I did not think much about it; I was more concerned with tending to the passions I had and changes I wanted to see.  My leadership roles came out of my desire to be involved, to take action in organizations in which I was able to participate.  I believe there is a bit of a bleeding heart in me that looks for involvement to satiate my desire to better understand a situation.
