Planning for food security: The role of city, county & regional governments

This work session focused on the role of local and regional planning in building strong local food systems and increasing food security. Panelists discussed the role of cities and counties and a variety of perspectives on public health, economic development and land use, and described how local food policy councils are engaged in these issues.
